Kumar started his career with India’s first modern retail brand of departmental stores in 1993 and took the reigns of the Retailers Association of India in 2009 with a deeper understanding of the industry over the last 16 years. Since then he has empowered RAI to be recognized as a guiding force of the industry for govt bodies as well as other associated eco-system to recognize the industry as a major contributor to the country’s growth.
